Musa Hilal Slams Politicians

Leader of the Revolutionary Awakening Council and chieftain of the Mahameed tribe, Sheikh Musa Hilal, accused politicians of being behind the outbreak of the war between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces militia in mid-April last year.
He added, while addressing the returnees from Libya who were among the fighting groups there, that the war between the Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, 1st.Lt.General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and his deputy Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, is backed by politicians and communists, affirming that no war breaks out without reason, planning, or politicians.

Hilal emphasised that the Sudanese people will hold accountable anyone who violates their dignity, loots their wealth, and destroys their property. He added, ‘This war has brought thieves and highway robbers from neighbouring countries to Sudan.’
It is worth noting that Hilal is planning to lead a social initiative to stop war.

Hilal’s speech comes amid confirmations from informed sources to (The Investigator) about a societal initiative proposed by prominent leaders in the Rezeigat tribe to stop the war.
